Due to release of water from Dev Dam, flood like situation has arise in Dhadhar river passing through Dabhoi taluka. For the first time in the current monsoon season, 16 villages along the Dhadhar river have been alerted following the situation. On the other hand, traffic on the road of Dangiwala village has stopped due to water inflow.

Due to heavy rains in upstream of Dev Dam, the water level of Dhadhar river is continuously increasing. Considering the flood like situation, 16 villages of Dabhoi taluka including Dholar, Kadadra, Vayadpura, Bhilapur, Navapura, Rajli, Anguthan, Thuvavi and Karali have been alerted.

The villagers have been instructed not to go to the river bank. Along with this, the Talatis of the villages have been instructed not to leave the village.

Apart from this, water logging situation arises in many areas due to heavy rains in Dabhoi taluka. 7 villages which includes Naranpura, Virpura, Karmalia Pura, Bamboj, Kabirpura and Jabuwada villages became cut off due to knee-deep water on the road of Dangiwala village in Dabhoi taluka. All vehicular movements have been stopped as roads are closed due to water. The heavy rains put the normal life out of gear in villages of the taluka.
