120 teachers of Vadodara took three pledge to fight Corona

COVID army of 5000 teachers also launched

On the occasion of Gujarat Stapana Diwas 120 teachers of Vadodara takes three pledge to fight against Coronavirus. COVID army of 5000 teachers are also launched on this occasion as a help towards fight against the virus.

In a programme OSD Dr. Vinod Rao called the 120 teachers of Vadodara to take three pledges as per appeal of Hon CM on the occasion of Gujarat Sthapana Diwas. The pledges are, Always wearing mask and never goes out without it, follow social distancing and maintain two foot distance with others and always wash hands frequently and sanitise it.

Dr Rao said, COVID Army of 5000 Teachers of Vadodara district was also launched and they will be deployed in Urban and Rural PHCs of Vadodara to support Health Department from 1st week of June.

Teachers from primary, secondary and higher secondary schools also comes forward in this time of need and donate to the relief fund. A Cheque for Rs 91 lakhs towards CHIEF MINISTER’S RELIEF FUND by Primary Schools Teachers is given on this ocassion. Secondary and Higher Secondary Schools Teachers have also contributed another Rs 71 Lakhs to the relief fund.
