12-foot crocodile rescued from a pit of under construction bridge in Vadodara

Wildlife Rescue Trust with the help of JCB pulled the crocodile safely and handed over to the forest department

A 12-foot crocodile fell into a hole of a bridge being built near Jambuva village near Vadodara city. Later it was pulled out by the Wildlife Rescue Trust with the help of JCB and handed over to the forest department.

As per available details Arvind Pawar, president of the city's Wildlife Rescue Trust, received a call from a contractor from the construction site of a bridge being built near Jambuva village near Vadodara. He informed about a large crocodile had fallen into a deep pit at the base of the construction side bridge.

As soon as the call was received, activists Yuvraj Singh Rajput, Arun Suryavanshi, Subash Patel, Vishal Rathore and Vadodara Forest Department officials Shailesh Rawal and Jignesh Parmar rushed to the spot. They look a found a 12-foot crocodile which seems to be difficult for the rescue team to take out. So they began digging for an 8-foot base with the help of the JCB.

Yuvraj Singh said it took about four hours to pull out the 12-foot-tall crocodile that had accidentally fallen into an eight-foot-deep pit. People gathered to watch the wildlife rescue team and the Forest Department's operation to pull the crocodile out of the pit safely.

The 12-foot-long crocodile was pulled out of an eight-foot-long pit and handed over to the forest department. The crocodile was released safely into the Jamba River by the Forest Department along with Forest Department officials.
