10th standard student from Vadodara found dead inside the canal

on 4th January in mysterious circumstances

A 10th
standard student from Vadodara went missing was found dead inside the canal
passing from near Vadodara city. He went missing on 4th January in mysterious
circumstances and his body was found inside the canal after two days on Monday.
He was said to be committed suicide after reprimanded by his parents for
studies.

15 year old
Ritwik Nikhilbhai Karnik resides in Rajeshwar gold in Harni area of Vadodara
city and studying in 10th standard of Bright school. His parents asked him to
study hard and on 4th January reprimanded for not paying attention towards his
studies. The boy then told his grandmother about going outside for sometime and
took his activa along with him.

As he not
return till evening the parents started searching for him and later gives a
missing report in Harni police station.

On Sunday
fire brigade team found a abandoned two wheeler near the canal and later found
it to be of Ritwik. Based on that they started searching for him inside the
canal but found nothing. However on Monday his body was found from inside the
canal passing from near Ankodia village. Taluka police is further investigating
in the case.
