1000 will shifted from Ankleshwar Taluka

After the water reached the danger mark in Narmada river the administration is making efforts to shift nearly 1000 people from five villages to safer places. At Golden Bridge the river is flowing above danger mark of 24 foot after 6 lakh cusecs of water released from the Dam. The low lying areas are waterlogged and people from areas like Sarfudin, Khalpia and Diva are shifted to safer areas.

Till afternoon 350 people are shifted and the number will be reached till 1000 till evening. SDM Ramesh Bhagora and other officials are continuously monitoring the situation.
