750 ventilators are now in the ventilator pool
As part of the advance and vigilant planning under the guidance of Dr. Vinod Rao, Officer on Special Duty and Education Secretary, 100 state-of-the-art ventilators have been added to approved hospitals for covid treatment in Vadodara since last night. Out of these 50 each has been allocated to government and private hospitals.
They have installed 20 new Advanced Ventilators for Free Beds component at Dhiraj Hospital, 10 in SSG Hospital and 5 in Gotri Hospital. 15 for Free Beds Component in Pioneer Hospital will be installing tomorrow and another 50 across Private Hospitals. Thus the overall pool of Advanced Ventilators will almost be 750, much more than the occupancy.
The administration will keep adding their capacity and not let any shortage of Ventilators in Vadodara. Max Proton Plus Advanced Ventilators installed on Sunday evening at SSG Hospital.
Dr. Rao said, We are seeing some stabilization of symptomatic cases in the last Round of Door to Door Surveillance. We hope this might help in stabilization of Hospital Admissions in the next 5-7 days.
