10 year old kid fell inside the water pit in housing construction site died

Site was closed after the stay given by High Court

A 10 year old kid died after fell inside the water pit in a housing construction site in Vadodara. The incident happened near Deendayal Upadhyay town hall inside JNURM site at Ajwa road area.

The incident happened at the JNURM site near the toen hall where the child fell inside the water pit. The family is lives there at the sight and the child was playing there when the incident happened.

However it is known that the site was closed for quite some time. The locals went to Highcourt as the plot on which the construction was carried out is reserved for school and get stay on it. The contractor left the site at that time and since than the place is in abandoned state. The pit was filled with water from monsoon rains and the child fell inside the pit while playing nearby.

The other children playing with informed his parents about the incident. Fire brigade was also informed about the incident but they failed to save the child. Bapod police registered the case and further investigating.
