Shroff S.R.Rotary Institute of chemical technology ranked 1st in GTU
Vatariya based Shroff S. R. Rotary Institute of chemical technology is ranked 1st in GTU .
College started its educational carrier in 2011. In the exam taken by GTU in May 2016, Shroff S. R. Rotary College stood 1stamong 107 colleges of Gujarat with 99.22%.
College administration in one of the press release informed that the Environmental science and technology and Chemical technology courses are only offered in this college and the result of 2016 batch is 100%.Also the result of first batch of electrical engineering result is 100%.
Result of Mechanical Engineer and Chemical Engineering result is 98.56 and 98.5% of this year.
Total 258 students of this college appeared in the exam of GTU held in May 2016, among them 253 students passed with distinction, 45 students got more than 9.0 SPI (more than 90% marks) and 11 students got more than 9.5 SPI in the examination.
This year in 2016, in Gujarat technological university Shroff R.S.Rotary college is on the first rank in chemical engineering, electrical engineering, chemical technology and environmental technology, where as 6th rank in mechanical engineering.
Trustee of the college said that “As the syllabus of the students is completed, college is providing the opportunity for a job to the students, last year in 2015 the 80% toppers from the first batch of the college got job by T&P Cell, & this year also 69 students got the job in different 25 industries with the annual package of package of 2.5 to 4.5 lakhs by the T&P Cell of college and the interview process for the rest of the students is going on.
This college is established by the UPL group and rotary club of Ankleshwar. Management of the college is done by the Ankleshwar Education Society, and many industries like Sajjan India, Zydus Chemical Ltd, Gujarat Reclaim and Rubber, BEIL, Colortex, Garda Chemicals and many small and big companies are supporting economically to this college.
