Total around 8000 police officials and jawans are in bandobast for Ganesh visarjan

Vadodara city police is ready for the final day visarjan of the Ganeshotsav and make plans for the security arrangements all along the route and around the lakes where the idols will be immersed. Total around 8000 police officials and jawans are in the bandobast for Ganesh visarjan falls on Thursday.

Vadodara city is the cultural city of Gujarat and is famous for celebrating various festivals with enthusiasm. However some petty incidents also happened during such celebrations which sometimes sour the whole thing. Vadodara police prepare themselves for the big day and have ample security measures to see off all the process smoothly.

Total 8000 police officials and jawans are going to be in the bandobast. 11 DCP, 20 ACP, 80 PI, 250 PSI, Police 4000, SRP 9 Companies 900 jawans, Rapid Action Force 120 jawans, Mahila CRPF Company 80 jawans, Traffic Police, Traffic Brigades 600, Home Guards 2400 are in the security bandobast during the immersion.

Talking about the additional bandobast,
750 CCTV Cameras on the whole routes for the supervision along with four drones keep a bird eye view on the whole thing. Shoulder light squad 160, Videographers 50, Mounted Police 8, Supercop bikes 16, Watch Towers 16, Emergency Tube Lights 25, Emergency Flash lights 30, Special Squad in Black Body Protector 80 QRT 3 Teams, 14 squads of Crime Branch, SOG, PCB will be in the sensitive areas of the city.

The teams also done foot patrolling all along the route before the visarjan day to review the security measures.
