Sensitise people and moved them to safer places

All eyes are now on Cyclone Vayu schedule to reach Gujarat in next 24 hours with wind speed touching 135 km. NDRF teams already positioned in the prone areas and started the very important part to sensitise people and help them evacuate the place before time.

Total 39 teams of NDRF are deployed in important locations and 12 are under Mobilisation. As per PRO and deputy commandant R.K. Mishra the NDRF Started evacuation in Gandhidham, Morbi, porbandar district in view of the cyclone and moves them to safer places. The teams are closely working on to sensitise people to reach safer places to avoid any loss of life.

All the works are closely supervised by DIG Operation NDRF HQ R K Rana and R. S. Joon Commandant 6 NDRF. The NDRF has also established a tec station in Somnath for monitoring the works of Teams. The main aim is to evacuate people to safer places first before Vayu hit Gujarat coast.
