For Mahendra Singh Dhoni, this day was again memorable, when he was awarded the Padma Bhushan, the country's third largest civilian honor.
Former captain Dhoni at the Rashtrapati Bhavan has been shown in a totally changed style. He received this honor from President Ramnath Kovind as Lieutenant Colonel. The 37-year-old Dhoni has been awarded the honorary Lieutenant Colonel On behalf of the Territorial Army and he has come to respect for this with military dress. His wife also attended the ceremony.

Advani also got Padma Bhushan
Pankaj Advani, a Winner in World Billiards and Snooker, also received Padma Bhushan. Like Dhoni, Advani was very successful in his game and he won gold medal in the 2006 and 2010 Asian Games.

This year, honorable 41 awardees were honored with the prestigious award from 84 selected people for the Padma Awards. Apart from former captain Dhoni and Advani, 41 nominees including film actor Manoj Joshi, also received the Padma awards from President Ramnath Kovind.
